Since its establishment in 2018, the Latino Equality Alliance’s LGBTQ+ Youth Scholarship Awards have supported the academic success of low-income LGBTQ+ youth from Los Angeles pursuing higher education. This year, over $100,000 in scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, was awarded to deserving students attending college, university, or vocational school.
