Mental Health for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people is a process that must be approached with care and understanding. We cannot leave out the forces of racism, queerphobia, transphobia and other systems of oppression that inflict harm on to QTPOC communities in our work around mental health. An intersectional framework is necessary when addressing the mental health of the LGBTQ+ community.
