Bamby Salcedo

TransLatin@ Coalition
Pronouns: she/her/ella

Bamby Salcedo is an internationally recognized transgender Latina activist, celebrated for her passionate advocacy and transformative leadership. As President and CEO of the TransLatin@ Coalition, Bamby has elevated the voices of transgender Latinas across the United States, championing social, political, and economic justice. Her academic background includes a Master’s in Mexican and Latin@ Studies from California State University, Los Angeles, and she spearheaded the creation of the Center for Violence Prevention & Transgender Wellness—a multi-million dollar, comprehensive resource for trans people in Los Angeles.

Bamby’s impact reaches far beyond the trans community. Her work addresses urgent issues such as immigration, HIV, LGBTQIA+ equality, youth advocacy, incarceration, and social justice, making her a vital connector and coalition builder on local, national, and international stages. A sought-after public speaker and expert witness, Bamby’s powerful voice has resonated at the White House, Congress, and countless conferences, rallies, and summits, where she inspires audiences with her heart, experience, and resilience. Bamby’s life and activism have been featured in major media outlets and documentary films, earning her numerous awards and honors from respected organizations.

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) stands as one of Major League Soccer’s most dynamic franchises, representing the vibrant diversity and competitive spirit of Los Angeles since 2018. As two-time Supporters’ Shield winners (2019, 2022), 2022 MLS Cup Champions, and 2024 U.S. Open Cup Champions, LAFC is committed to building a world-class soccer club defined by excellence, community, and fan engagement.

With a visionary ownership group composed of leading figures in entertainment, sports, technology, and media, LAFC has set new standards both on and off the field. The club’s state-of-the-art 22,000-seat BMO Stadium and elite training center at California State University, Los Angeles, reflect its deep investment in the city and the global game. Jai Rodriguez

Actor, Host & Activist
Pronouns: he/him

Jai Rodriguez launched his career at just 18, starring as ‘Angel’ in the acclaimed musical “RENT”—the youngest actor to lead the role. He made television history as the ‘Culture Vulture’ in the original Queer Eye (2003), becoming part of the first all-out gay cast in network history and earning an Emmy Award for hosting. Since then, Jai has built an extensive career in television and film, with standout roles in series such as High Potential, Bros, Uncoupled, and a recurring role this spring on The Young and the Restless.

Beyond the screen, Jai is a dedicated activist and philanthropist, using his platform to champion LGBTQIA+ rights and support organizations like Equality California, The Trevor Project, and Project Angel Food. Whether on stage, screen, or at the forefront of advocacy, Jai Rodriguez continues to break barriers and inspire communities with his authenticity, talent, and commitment to equality.
