PADRES ALIADOS CONECTADOS/P.A.C

PAC: A Parent Support Group Rooted in Culture, Care, and Allyship

Padres Aliados Conectados (PAC) is a safe space for parents, guardians, and caregivers in East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, and Southeast LA. Together, we build community, learn from one another, and strengthen our ability to support LGBTQ+ youth—at home and beyond.

The challenge

Many caregivers are doing their best to support their children—while also navigating limited resources, misinformation, stigma, and the pressure of “figuring it out alone.” For families supporting LGBTQ+ youth, that can feel even heavier.

PAC exists so caregivers have a place to ask questions, build language, find support, and grow confidence—together.

How PAC supports families

Led by Latino Equality Alliance (LEA), PAC strengthens family bonds, builds trust, and supports parents as leaders in their communities.

In PAC, caregivers gain:

  • A safe, judgment-free space to share and learn parent-to-parent
  • Workshops & education to strengthen relationships with LGBTQ+ youth and family members through tools and language
  • Connection to local resources that support wellness and stability
  • Community-building that honors culture, joy, and belonging
