Date and time: Thursday, March 21 · 5 - 8pm PDT Location: Plaza de la Raza, 3540 North Mission Road Los Angeles, CA 90031 Latino Equality Alliance (LEA) presents a special screening and panel discussion on the documentary "INSPIRED: The Voices Against Prop 8." This is a FREE EVENT, open to community members. RSVP is required. On November 4, 2008 the voters of California passed Proposition 8 revoking marriage rights for same-sex couples. The next day in Los Angeles, a movement was born. This inspirational documentary follows the passing of Proposition 8 and the community that banded together to advocate for marriage equality and gay rights. After the screening, join us for an unforgettable and reflective panel discussion with the filmmaker, founders of LEA, and local activists from the marriage equality civil rights movement.
